Was born in Mexico City. He studied film at the New York Film Academy of Manhattan; he also studied still photograhy with the renowned Mexican photographer Saúl Serrano at the Centro Cultural / Arte Contemporáneo. He finished his film studies at the London International Film School.
During his years of study he had the opportunity to work in the production of a variety of short films and documentaries in Asia and Europe. The years out of Mexico helped to create his vision of reality in his own country. Christian believes that experience serves as a filter that enriches his directorial vision, that studies in the classroom should be complemented with real world experiences on the streets. His style is the result of realism and a hightened sense of aesthetics; when it comes to turning reality into fiction, where the director and his team take care of every last detail in order to create magic.
He is a firm believer in success through team work. He always tries to collaborate with the same team, creating a symbiosis which is reflected in the high quality of his work.
During his career he has had the opportunity of working hand in hand with clients and agencies such as General Motors, Toyota, Buick, Pepsico, Sabritas, Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Danone, Olabuenaga Chemistri, Gruma, McCann Erickson, JWT, Publicis, Leo Burnett, BBDO, Recreo, Circus Marketing, A Bunch Of Monkeys, Ogilvy amongst others.
He has received awards from a variety of festivals; Círculo Creativo, The New York Film Festival, London Advertising Festival, Ojo de Iberoamérica and the Cannes Lions.
